The project is led by the Ministry of Defence, with key roles played by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), in partnership with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).

What is AMCA?
The Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) is a fifth-generation stealth multirole fighter jet being developed indigenously for the Indian Air Force. It is designed to replace ageing MiG and Jaguar fleets and function alongside the Tejas LCA and upcoming MRFA platforms.
